Happy New Year!

Pardon me for early greetings, but its way past 0000hours in Sydney which is currently 3hours ahead.

Went for countdown at Mrs Macquarie Point (somewhere near the opera house where we would be able to get a good view of the fireworks as we were not allowed near the opera house area).

The sea breeze was rather strong and both the sick (my sis and I) agreed that we would not be able to withstand the cold wind for 4hours, so we chose to stay only for the fireworks session at 9pm.

But anyway, the fireworks were good. Just within our sight, there are 4 spots in that area displaying fireworks simultaneously. Shows how rich Aussies are huh.

Oh did i mention that 1/4 of people residing in Sydney was there i guess. Very very very crowded and I shall let the pictures do the talking.

These photos are a huge understatement of the crowd present. I only managed to capture these pictures as at other times, I would either be busy squeezing or scouting for a place to even rest my butt.

Anyway, i reckon that almost everyone there enjoyed the fireworks. 'Ang-mohs' who are relatively more outspoken displayed their appreciation by clapping and cheering kinda loudly after the 18minute session (not the result of alcohol i hope).

Alrite, 2006 had passed, albeit too soon to be true.

So i hope that in 2007 I would make better use of my time and certainly engage in some activities that would leave significant memories down the years.

These could form part of my new year resolutions. But please do not ask me for a list of new year resolutions. It has not been my practice to pen down 10 or 20 resolutions. I just hope that everything will go smoothly and I would have lived my life to the fullest. Betterment as a person is certainly strived as usual too.

So for now, chao.
