Supposedly the time for me to get sentimental. For today's the last day of school (ended the term with the most erxin quiz of all - AFA).
But as I was in the exam hall this morning, there was this person who was announcing to everyone that this is our last quiz in ntu as he passed by my table. Wells, g.u.y.s.
Anyway, guess I have been sentimental enough for these few entries.
So I shall entertain with a weird dialogue at Calfit this tuesday.
It started at the counter as I was entering Calfit. Passed my membership card to this counter boy look alike (who is actually the assistant sales manager).
A Manager: Hi, how long would you be staying in Singapore?
Me: Huh? (OS: You mean you know I am inclined towards migrating?)
A Manager: Oh you are not above 21 right?
Me: Yes I am. (OS: Wah, very seldom that people say that I look younger than my age)
A Manager: Do you have a credit card?
Me: Yes...
A Manager: Oh what kind of credit card do you have? I mean credit card, not debit card. Can I see?
Me (Plucked out my earphones, raising my voice a little, and looking straight into his eyes): Huh? Yes, I do have a credit card. May I know what's the problem? (OS: Siao ar, show you my credit card for what. You think Im mad meh.)
Guess its obvious that I got rather pissed at his rude questions and remarks that I plucked out my iPod earphones and started to pay attention him with my trademark stares.
A Manager: Oh, cos we have a promotion blah blah blah. And guess it FINALLY struck the A Manager that I am certainly Above 21 and do have a credit card. Ended the conversation with him giving me his namecard and stuff. Weird guy.
Well, it's really seldom that people think that I am younger than my age. Little wonder why that A manager stays as A manager. And isnt he dumb to ask to see someone's credit card? Cos I doubt anyone is dumb enough to go around showing his/her credit card.
Anyway, should I be happy that I look like a foreigner and look young?
Been commented a couple of times that I do not look like a Singaporean. Wells, I would take that as a compliment. =D
