Day 7
Was supposed to be day out at Jeju island. But tickets ran out. Boo. And we weren’t able to get them online in Singapore as the website does not accept our credit cards.
So we had to make do with Teddy Bear museum at Ori. The teddy bears were cute! But there was no gift shop! And we actually went online at our hostel a couple of days before to locate gift shops in the city but there were no Alfred bears on sale in the end. =(

Anyways the bears were really cute!
Sis's fav - beauty and the beast! They had bears in Harry Potter, Shrek and Titantic too! My fav - Titanic! So cute!
The wedding ceremony ones are really cute too! Me and kitty - totally not happy with each other Alrite, we made up eventually.. Presenting you the fako mermaid.. Haha And later in the afternoon, we initially planned to visit Han River and Seoul World Cup Stadium but they were cancelled as we decided that shopping was more important. Haa. Ended up at Myeong Dong (*for the 3rd consecutive day) again. And we went back full of shopping bags again! Haha
 Day 8
Went Myeong Dong (for the 4th time i know) for last minute shopping. Bought some seaweed back. Had our last 'meal' at Baskin Robbins. Yummy! YX and mine - chocolate Kitty and WJ - strawberry
Departure from Seoul Incheon Airport. Saw koreans donning their traditional costume at the airport. Caught some filming at the airport too.. Bought Dunkin Donuts home (The only donut shop at the airport). But I would say Mister Donut is no1, followed but Krispy Kreme, then Dunkin Donuts. Mister Donut is really nice! Heh.
Afterthoughts
Initially thought that it would be weird travelling with 2 of my JC friends whom I don’t really know well but it turned out great! Girls can click easily since our interests usually do not differ – the magic word is s.h.o.p.p.i.n.g. Wahaha.
And the culture shock of Korea is that they recycle toilet paper. So you have to throw used toilet paper in the bin. Yes it is gross as you can see really gross stuff in the bin. And can you imagine using their face tissue which is recycled?
Another interesting thing to note (info from ZQ) is that cosmetic surgery is so common there that the young people usually go for cosmetic surgery after college (before uni) so that they can look good and find a partner in uni (they marry early – usually straight after uni). So if you see 2 good looking parents with an ugly kid on the street, you’d know why.
And who says that Asians are less romantic. Korea has countless special occasions and days – such as the Rose Day which we met with on 14/5. ZQ said that the girls there would receive something from guys, on the average, MONTHLY. So this marks the end of my interesting Korea graduation trip. Thanks to all who made this possible. And thanks to kitty for being my roommate. Tolerating my or-or pio and messiness (though she is just as untidy). Wahaha. Time for ah ma to rest now. Bye.
