It's time I snapped out of it.
Thanks to sis who always has that simple 1 or 2 phrases that never fail to hit the nail on the head.

I've always hated parents who ask their kids to 'GROW UP'.
If you know what I'm referring to, it's the demeaning tone that I hate most.
Come on, do you think you can get anything out of it apart from more violent verbal exchanges and a shattered heart from your child?

In this case, I got to admit that I really got to grow up.
As I grow to make my own decisions, I got to be responsible for them.
It's something that just comes naturally. I can't expect to be absolved from such responsibility.

This small incident has once again shed some light on adulthood.
I have always thought that I'm a very responsible person.
And yes, to other people, I have always been responsible for what I did/said/am supposed to do/am supposed to say.
But when it comes to myself, this is a new lesson learnt.

To be more responsible to myself.
