Greetings from Balikpapan!

My 3rd day here and it has been fine, except that the weather is kind of untolerable (freaking hot!)
Only the aircon in the hotel can make me happy. Not forgetting my queen-sized bed, 4 pillows and all. =)

The shopping here is shocking. Only 1 shopping centre named ‘Balikpapan Plaza’ with only 4 stories of shops. It’s a really small shopping centre (probably ½ of wisma).

The good thing is that food here is fine. It’s kind of a fusion of Chinese & Malay. And we have been living the lives of an expat – dining at restaurants, chauffeured by company driver wherever we go. Sounds quite good huh.

But wells, the hard part comes when I talk about work. As work is work no matter what. Boring yet xiong & tiring.

Wells, I should count my blessings. So glad that there is internet here (yeah, surprising indeed).
