Life of an auditor @ Balikpapan Part II

The rest of the days were rather routine.
Wake up at 730, breakfast at 8, reach client's place at 9, lunch at 12, dinner at 9/10

Food is all the same again.
Visting random restaurants which would appear to be closed but once we enter, the lights, music, tv everything would be on. Damn funny.

And finally, upon my request, we went to try their traditional food - nasi padang
But gosh this was our last. We did not dare to try them again. -_-
The spread looks good but they're really not to our liking. (And no, we did not finish them all - you pay for what you eat)

Nonetheless, they have their special and good food too.
Kenari crabs - yummy yum!

A big toast after a long day

Oh this is my hotel room - I took this when I changed rooms as the hotel was undergoing renovations.

Sunday was finally our free day.
As our seniors already had their share of exploring Balikpapan on their previous Sunday, only the A1s had the mood to travel around.

My hotel lobby

While waiting for the seniors for dinner

And a peek at my hotel facilities - playground

Tennis court!!!

Swimming pool

And the ''private'' beach right in front of our hotel

Le Grandeur Balikpapan!

We visited their traditional market and made some buys. Heh

And finally, it was the day to come back to my sweet sweet home
This is the photo taken at the airport transit. They have their own POLO flagship store (Note 'own')

So all in all, I had fun in Bailkpapan despite the long working hours and boring working life there.
The clients were really nice and I really cannot understand why clients in Singapore cannot be half as nice as them. Grrrr

This marks the end of my 1st overseas assignment and I look forward to more! =D
