Fresh from BBC:
Henin announces shock retirement
World number one Justine Henin has announced her retirement from tennis with immediate effect.
It indeed comes as a shock to many, including me.
Justine is currently at the peak of her career and she's like what, 25 and retiring?
Crap. It's really kind of depressing to know that people actually retire at 25 and when I look at myself, I doubt I can even retire at the age of 52.
No money, no career, no husband, nothing. This is my miserable life that I foresee in 30 years' time.
I know that I should not dwell on such negative thoughts but the more uncertain of what I want in life (and what I am doing with my life now), the more I think that my life is heading towards that direction.
"You need to seriously think about what you want"
This is what I have been hearing the most lately from people.
But people, guess what. I HAVE been trying hard to think about what I want but I seriously have NO IDEA AT ALL.
"Oh that's normal, I didn't know what I wanted then as well"
This is yet another of my favourite line.
Cause guess what. I hate this kind of feeling. I don't give a damn about your miserable life then but I am sure that I do not want to end up like you.
So the conclusion of the day is that I seriously need to start thinking about my life.
Or career for that matter.
Cause according to a very smart brain, it is not wise to view a job just but a job since it takes up like 1/2 of your day everyday. So if I am smarter (if not as smart) as that smart brain, I need to find a job that I enjoy doing.
Isn't that as tough as conquering Mt Everest?
Anyway, no more smart brains are entertained here. Just let me complain.
