Last night was an emotional one for me.
Cristiano’s goal. Lampsy’s goal. Cech’s double save. JT’s clearance (nearly) off the line. All our unlucky shots that hit the goal post. Drogba’s red card.
Followed by Cristiano’s miss. And JT’s miss. Then Anelka’s saved penalty.
It was a good effort I know but I just can’t help but feel disappointed.
I have never been this disappointed with my boys.
I am not taking away anybody’s credit. Neither am I pushing the blame to anyone.
It was just not meant to be.
But everything would never be the same again.
